I wonder if GW lets his daughters talk to "that Cheney girl", as I'm guessing he refers to her. Maybe one of GW's daughters will come out and it will make a difference. Probably not. I suppose she could go live with the VP's daughter when the Bushs disowned her.
I found this line to be painfully perceptive and most enlightening with respect to our nation's political problems today:
"being persuadable is seen as weakness, and being persuaded proof of moral failure"
As a scientist, I am trained in the exact opposite way. Being unpersuadable is a sign of weakness and not being persuaded by proof is an ethical failure.
