Why I believe in our president

[From [with alteration] Daily Kos Blog]
With the election fast approaching, I've been re-examining my feelings about our president. And though I know some TCAers will be disturbed, I have concluded that I believe President Bush -- and I believe in him.

It is brave of you to write that and expose your ignorance. Democracy requires thoughtful management, not blind belief.
My dog believes in me. I love him for it. But his belief is limited and does not endanger anyone (unless, well, I've trained him to believe that he should kill anyone who seems to treaten me.)
It does NOT matter what Bush intended: he failed.
Nice man, and I'll bet there is not a better partying president ever and I would enjoy his company. But hire him? Pay him? You would actually do that out of your own pocket, for your own company? The executive of a nation that affects the entire world: your ignorance passeth understanding, bordering on the willful.
Maturing means distinguishing between and hardon and love.
Unalloyed bravery is about as useful as unalloyed belief.

People who "believe" don't really need, or want information. It is of utterly no use. In fact, there is no way to even "process" it.
Nonetheless, it continues to exist! I cannot explain it, but, well, it exists!

I've been had.
It was a bit too obtuse to hold my attention, and I'm a poor reader anyway.
But, no excuses allowed: my bad.
