Mayhem in Gaza
Why not ask the UN to occupy Gaza. Is Arafat really any better than Saddam? He hides among his people, kills Israelis, and draws fire which get his people killed.

I guess the counter spin would be that Sharon kills innocent Palestinians in trying to take down their government (which is what the terrorists say they are doing.) So the one sided view (Arafat hiding behind his people getting them killed while killing Israelis) assumes that Israel has to kill innocent Palestinians. They don't.
My "fix" for the Middle East would be to make Jerusalem the "capitol" of the United Nations and make it an international city not controlled by any one nation. The campaign slogan can be UN out of the US!
When the Palestinians fire rockets from their apartment buildings, churches, hospitals, schools? Open to suggestions here.
As to making Jerusalem international: that's not even the issue. The issue is that Israel is simple targetted for total destruction. That's kind of hard to negotiate with.
I suppose the US should give all the country back to the Indians. Really.
