"The Republicans are becoming the party of committed Christians, the Democrats that of committed secularists."

Like I was saying, this is what has become of our two party system: Theocracy vs. Democracy. Blind faith seems to be the only explanation for how someone like George Bush could ever be considered for high office.

I don't know if The Pasion of the Christ is the cinematic statement for the Christians, but I must say, at least for myself, that Farenheit 9/11 is NOT the cinematic statement for this person.
Nor would I make the divide between Christians and secularists, but between theocracy and democracy.
Oh, but it gets better: Austrailia is acting pretty much like the US: yep: born again evangelical movement, and then there is England, who can't seem to shake off their prime minister. England seems to be a political clone of the US.

I guess I don't see your problem with F-911. I thought it a very good documentary. Its only problem is that it may be too truthful.
