Ron Reagan

"There is a surreal quality to all this: Occupation is liberation; Iraq is sovereign, but we're in control; Saddam is in Iraqi custody, but we've got him; we'll get out as soon as an elected Iraqi government asks us, but we'll be there for years to come."

These things, as good as they are, are too long to read, and what's the real killer, is no one will sit still long enough to discuss problems at such a depth.
So, you put this against Bush in Grand Rapids "They think the values come from Hollywood, but I think they come from right here in Grand Rapids"
Bush needs to be attacked, but not as a buffoon.
Its one thing to change a horse in mid stream: its another to beat a dead one: King George is a dead horse: quit trying to ride him.
You don't have to eat an entire pie to know the damn thing is no good!
Is the economy better? Are we safer? What happened to our allies? Is education better? Is the environment better? Remember hydrogen cars? Remember gas at 150? Remember going to Mars? Do you think Iraq has been handled well?
You want another 4 years of bedtime stories from uncle George?
We've got a nation of voters who think, yeah, uh, we could do better, but damned if I know what to do, so, well, maybe this is the best?
Funniest thing I read today from a Republican: bemoaning how partisan it was during the Clinton administration! Talk about he who smelt it dealt it!

Very nicely put and it's excellent to be reminded.
