Iran threatens preemptive strike

IN A marked escalation of a war of words between Iran and its arch-enemies Israel and the US, Tehran has for the first time threatened a preemptive strike against US troops in the region.

Seems like a sensible diplomatic position for Iran to take. Actually, the US is sufficiently stressed militarily, that Iran could use conventional forces to punish the US in Iraq.
Iran has no interest in a stabile Iraq in the US controls which is certainly a military launch pad for destabilizing Iran.
I rather like the notion that Iran calls Israel "evil". And of course, the US is "evil", colonizing and subduing whole nations for economic colonization. We have just seen one giant mall company eat another one: the US is all malled out, so in order to grow, you buy.
I'll bet Iran could use some malls :-)
