Paranoia Runs Deep
The American Family Association is now convinced that Shark Tale, the animated DreamWorks sequel to "Finding Nemo" is really providing "an undercurrent of approval for homosexuality". Their reasoning is pretty weak. Any movie that has a theme of accepting other's differences could qualify as pro-homosexual propoganda using their reasoning. How can intelligent people focus their efforts in this way???

The assumption that people are "intelligent" is incorrect. The are emotional machines first, and the brain then makes up a story to support the emotion.
Indeed, many systems that actually have NO intelligence at all may appear to us to be exhibiting intelligent behavior, purposeful behavior. Consider simply those toy cars that change direction when then bump into something.
On the other hand, those people are right: if you increase tolerance of any kind, you increase tolerance of all kinds... including homosexual behavior.
If you find homosexual behavior to be a mortal sin against God, then tolerance is a bad bad thing.
