For all the talk
For all my talk of reaching out to the Bush crowd I just could not deny posting this web site. It's great.

It's not profanity. It's something else. It's punctuation. It's "I'm not going to spend the time descriping the DSM terms what your problems are, how you got them, what it might take to cure them"... dickwad will have to do.
Not sure what profanity would be: rudely describing someones body? some sexual act? denigrating an act of humility?
On the 4th in DC, we had pulled off route 50 where we had a straight view down to the GW monument and the fireworks and many people had pulled off onto this small road side park. About 150 inside the park was a parking lot, whose access was gained from a side street. There was a man, I don't recall his dress... maybe a suit, maybe dressed in white, maybe khackies... but he had put down a prayer run, and on his kneeds he prayed and put his head to the ground several time. When he was done, he was done, and joined in coversation with another man, just over the fence, a european American and they chatted amiably.
Describing that man with discourtesy: that would be profanity.
Like lenny bruce says, if you can't say fuck, you can't say fuck the government. And it would be a total shame to not be able to say Fuck Ashcroft, et al.
