2) I like the people at the West Hurley post office, I like the service, I like that they are paid well and treated well
3) I don't know, but I do believe that first class mail subsidizes junk mail, but also make mailing magazines possible (I don't know if that's a good thing or not)

"Taking advantage of pension-fund savings" sounds like Enron, Microsoft, a really really bad thing. The rate increase is due higher costs being passed on to the consumer. The rate could have been held down, hidden, by fucking the employees pension fund?
