John Kerry wants to hear from you

Here is what I wrote:

I am voting for John Kerry this year because saving the country is more important than reform of the Democratic Party. Once Kerry is elected we can then move on to reform the party or move on past it.

A vote for Nader is not a vote to change the democratic party, it is a vote to destroy it: there is NO compromising with Nader: he's just another Bush.
As to Kerry: no man running for president ever looks presidential: he is always compared to an actual president, who has achieved that appearance by occupying the office.
As to "reform", I think of Frost's wall: before I reformed something I'd ask to know what I was reforming in and what I was reforming out. "Change" is the proper word, and one will judge by the contents if it is reform or not.
"Reform" is like "make it generally better" and to that there is the perfect quote:
Individuals who would do good must do so in minute particulars. General good is the plea of the hypocrite, the flatterer and the scoundrel.
That's not directed at anyone, but it is a good way to view generalities, even in our own honest intent.
