Something deeply disturbing about this quote...

"September the 4th, 2001, I stood in the ruins of the Twin Towers. It's a day I will never forget."

--President George W. Bush
New Jersey, October 18, 2004

I mean who get's this date wrong? WHO?

Is he THAT out of touch? Was it planned on the 4th? Why did I not hear about this quote until this past weekend?

Not at all. A man with a big picture view can't be wired to irrelevant details. He could get the year wrong and still be right.
He could, like so many others, have everything totally totally right and be utterly wrong.
Nobody has put forth the big picture without tears.
This is Bush's "final solution"... who knows what calculus he uses. Funny, while he fiddles with Iraq, global warming might come and just totally run our asses over :-)
At what point will the worlds environmental balance be tipped? How much less forest? How much worse ocean? How much more desert?
And be certain: it will tip. And you will live to see it. I might, but you will.
