I agree with the Moose
The level of anger in this country is palpable. I don't give a damn about parties or party politics. It's time for reform because our political class has lost their fucking minds.

Our beliefs about American history are quite different from the reality (as in don't believe everything you think)
The notion that there is a system of government independent of the time and place and population is fanciful: the fault is not in those stars.
I have to wonder if the fact that nobody shits anymore (that is peculiar to the developed nations) has given us delusions of godliness.
All that being said, a reasonable third party, Greens, let's say would add a great dash of instability to the process: the game of the two party system is altered: it is more an alliance with both conspiring against the populations.
