As to the war, it's over: the Sunni's have joined the government.
Not only will this quell the violence in Iraq, it will ripple through all of Islam. The Islamic Reformation has reached critical mass.
Finally, ALL the media seems to be carrying the heckling of Laura... makes no sense. Heckle Laura? George hides behind a skirt?
But none of it is going to matter: it's over.
(Yeah, Bush can still screw it up... if peace in Iraq does not bring oil or even promises less,, ummm, maybe that's just not acceptable: keep fighting.)

Iraqi rebels kill security chief
The commander of a unit set up to fight insurgents in Iraq is shot dead, as bombings continue across the country.
There is still shit in the pipeline. And there will be continuing violence. But the main warehouse is closed. And there is no place left to hide.
How could he screw it up:
#1 in a series: he could ignore the whole event, sort of a "pocket veto". His own version of "hear no evil", ie, don't even hear anything that doesn't fit your beliefs.
Sunni's? what about them? really? we didn't know.
The IRA was in the political process in N. Ireland yet the war continued for some time. This may be along the same lines or worse.
