it's his sense of humor that allows him to say things like "mission accomplished" and "nice work brownie" and "things are going well in Iraq"... without having this sense of humor, well, he would be seen as just a totally careless idiot.
In truth, this picture is unfair: it looks like it is deliberately posed, but it is not: it is a fleeting expression caught on video tape, a brief flash... but, shades of the Howard Dean scream that never was, here is intrusive media protraying something that really wasn't quite there... "that's why they put doors on the bathroom stalls"
