An interesting song...
Regarding PBS funding cuts, the notion that cable networks reach anywhere near the level of quality programming offered on PBS is ridiculous.
Time and time again the cable networks have proven that their only interest in children's programming is big advertising profits. Large for-profit broadcasters and their deep pocketed advertisers cannot be trusted to provide quality programming for our children - this is obvious to any parent.
I only allow my children to watch PBS, in fact, I've locked all other channels so they aren't available. Anyone backing these cuts in PBS should expect a severe backlash from the countless parents who know the difference between quality children's programming and corporate advertising media.
Your country is being taken.
